Try it! Clay And Glass Art Class for kids
Experience what The Art Garage has to offer with our “Try
It!” Workshop. Three week sessions for
your child to try creating with clay, glass and painted pottery. Great projects and new techniques taught each
class.

For children 5-11 years old

Clay 1
Hand-building with clay is so much fun! Students will learn a bit about the history of clay, clay vocabulary and create 5 clay projects using many different techniques! All projects will be glazed and fired.

Art Explorers Class
for Home-Schoolers
Students will learn a new notable artist with
each lesson, study their artistic style and famous art work. Students will
create their own artwork in the artist’s style while working with a variety of
art media, including clay, collage, drawing and painting.
6 week session

Drawing and Painting Class
Does your child love to draw? Do they sit for hours creating masterpieces? In this class we will work on drawling and painting techniques including proportion and color mixing. We will use different drawing and painting mediums and keep a sketchbook for in and out of class. Some art history will be learned too!

Winter Clay and Glass Class
Make beautiful art themed for the season! Kiddos 8 and up will create beautiful glass fusion, clay and painted pottery pieces. Glass fusion snowmen Nightlights and Valentine vases are among the great functional projects that will be created! Perfect for gift giving and decorating!
For children 8 years old and up
